<p>I honestly cannot remember, when I was called overweight (or fat) for the first time or when I got the first weight loss tips, but I certainly reached my climax, when my bathroom scale showed 107 kilograms at a height of 180 cm. This was the moment, where I realised; I have to do something, to lose weight and what I wanted most, was a quick weight loss.</p>
<p>As almost everybody, my first approach to quick weight loss was, to try to find a diet, which suits me. Unfortunately I never asked, what a good diet is, I just tried what sounded and looked nice. Atkins, Lemon Juice, Grapefruit diet, Eggs, Celebrity Diets – you name it, I tried it. All of them showed at the beginning some success, I lost weight, but very soon I just lost my willpower and I was back on normal eating and logically back on my old weight. Up and down that was my weight over the next 2 years.</p>
<p>Angry and disappointed, I now started to read the “weight loss success stories” of other people and I got interested in books like “You on a diet” or “Weight loss for Dummies”. And the more I informed myself, the more I realised, there is not really a diet for me, which suits all my needs and tastes. But more and more I saw stories and articles about diet pills, especially about Hoodia Gordonii.</p>
<p>Although the stories about Hoodia Gordonii sounded quite logical, I was sceptical. However, I decided to give it a shot and I ordered 1 month supply of Hoodia. 1 month was, in my opinion, a fair amount of time and I was determined to stay on it for the whole month, no matter what.</p>
<p>My first supply of Hoodia Gordonii arrived in April 2005 and I never looked back since. My weight dropped 25 kg within 6 month and I still was eating everything I liked, just less. After this drop, I stopped Hoodia completely, but realised that I was soon back to gaining weight, because I had to face the truth: my self-discipline was not what it should be. But it was no problem, because as soon as I started with Hoodia again, I ate less and my weight dropped.</p>
<p>Nowadays I am at a constant weight, between 80 and 83 kg. I am eating everything I like, just smaller amounts, because I am not so hungry anymore. My metabolism is excellent and I generally feel healthy. So if one asks me, what is a good diet, or if someone wants weight loss tips, my only answer is: Hoodia Gordonii! </p>
<p>I found the right solution to lose and control my weight and so I do not need to read them anymore, I can write my personal “weight loss success stories”!</p>

<p>In our modern times it seems more difficult than ever to keep from getting over weight. At a time when the workings of the human body are understood the most we are at our wits end with this problem. Over half of the US population is over weight. Many other countries are experiencing the same issues. Our biggest problem in this area is finding the time to address our weight on a daily basis. Here are a few tips for weight loss for the modern weight watcher.</p>
<p>1. All weight loss plans that actually work do the same thing. Teach you how to consume less calories than you burn. A caloric deficit is the goal. This has to be achieved daily. This is weight loss at its basic level. Every successful weight loss diet must meet this formula. We are going to have to eat less than what we are eating now, unless we implement tip # 2</p>
<p>2. More exercise will be the order of the day. Sorry, but this is inevitable if we want to loss those unwanted pounds and keep them off. This can be accomplished in easy and enjoyable ways. Walking, riding a bicycle, hiking, swimming or getting involved in any other outdoor activity that will raise our heart rate is what we are looking for. If we choose to stay indoors we will still have to do things to raise our heart rate such as calisthenics, treadmill, stationary bike, swimming, pumping iron or things like these.</p>
<p>3. A proper balance of #1 and #2. A balance diet and some exercise is what will work best to achieve a caloric deficit. Determine what our calorie intake should be for our age, weight and height (www.weightlosstest.org). We will call that our maintenance intake. Eating this much will have no effect on our weight, it will stay the same. Ad our exercise and we are now in a deficit! If we didn&#8217;t add any exercise and just ate 500 calories less each day we again would be in a deficit. This equation can be adjusted any way we like to fit our needs. Here is a bonus. We actually get a 2 for 1 effect with exercise. Not only do we burn calories but we also build muscle. More muscle mass raises our metabolism. More muscle mass means the calories we need for our maintenance intake are increased. This will make it easier for us on the eating side of the equation.</p>
<p>4. Eat healthy. Read labels and learn what is in the foods we eat. A gram of protein or carbohydrates equals 4 calories. A gram of fat on the other hand equals 9 calories! This doesn&#8217;t mean fat is bad, just that we need to limit how much of it we consume. Not all fat is created equal either. Saturated fats are not all that good for us whereas unsaturated fats are better. Food that is high in sugars should also be limited. Not only are they very high in calories but are also not healthy. We don&#8217;t have to be dietitians; just some basic knowledge coupled with some common sense will go a long way helping us to lose some weight.</p>
<p>Remember, weight loss will eventually become weight management. Maintaining our proper weigh is a lifestyle and not something we jump in and out of. Gradual weight loss is best and healthiest. By eating and excising correctly we will burn fat and build muscle thereby raising our metabolism. If we need to have a little help in keeping track of all of this I would suggest an online diet program. They are great for helping us organize meals, keep track of our calories and an overall ability to stay on track. <p>So&#8230; Can you use aromatherapy for weight loss? The short answer is &#8220;Yes&#8221;. </p>
<p>This is not to say that aromatherapy is a &#8220;magic bullet&#8221; or instant weight loss cure &#8211; there is no such thing. But aromatherapy can be a valuable part of a healthy, sensible weight loss program.</p>
<p>Aromatherapy does two things: It can help manage cravings and feelings of hunger, and it can also address some contributors to weight issues such as stress, anxiety and depression.</p>
<p><strong>How Aromatherapy for Weight Loss Works</strong></p>
<p>Research shows that appetite and the sense of smell are closely connected. In fact, studies have found that our sense of smell actually triggers feelings of fullness <em>before</em> our stomach does.</p>
<p>When you inhale an essential oil, its microscopic molecules directly affect a part of the brain called the hypothalamus. An area inside the hypothalamus called the &#8220;satiety center&#8221; controls feelings of hunger/fullness.</p>
