I am starting a new thing where I blog about losing weight. I am at the start of a long journey to lose weight and get fit and healthy by eating right and exercising. I call it the “hard way” because it’s not just a quick fix for now, not a fad, and not a pill. This is the real way to lose weight, and it’s going to take sweat and tears and self-control and behavior modification.

I currently weight about 195 and I have that same thing, same stomach fat as well, but I am only 5′2″ so I look much fatter than you did at this weight. ChouBunny, all i can really advise for you is a healthy diet, and cardio.
Keeping a healthy diet is really quite easy, im a body builder so i need to keep myself in good form. What i have is oats with raisins in the morning with semi skimmed milk, then another 5 small meals, e.g, vegatables with low fat sauce, red beans, healthy soup, etc..
Also, for your cardio, i suggest brisk walking around your block a few times, or, intense dance practise

I have lost 20 pounds and now weigh 200 yay. its exciting. well i was just wondering if you were able to lose weight during your period, or how you dealt with not losing weight or gaining during your period. I’m thinking of starting a low carb diet but i don’t really know if thats right for me yet. I eat beans and rice at night, because I’m not 100% raw
Stick with beans you cook yourself and brown rice if possible.
You can eat dehydrated anything, as long as it was dehydrated in less than 118 degree temperatures (to keep the enzymes alive). Roasted nuts etc are out, unless you’re on a percentage raw and not 100%.
